Reyhan (played by Meriem Uzerli) is a wealthy 38-year-old woman who one evening notices a young man among the guests of her own establishment. Uzer (played by Sam Shevval) catches the eye of the restaurant owner. Despite the 20-year age gap, the couple cannot resist their feelings.

It soon becomes clear that the young man is going through a difficult time. His mother is sick with cancer, and Uzer himself is burdened with an unhappy marriage. He works tirelessly, forgetting about his own needs and worries, in order to solve family problems and pay for his mother's treatment. The tormented man finds solace in his interactions with Reyhan. Despite the age difference, they become closer. But the couple does not realize how their relationship will affect their destinies.

The drama "Ru" unfolds in one of the provinces of Izmir, where a young woman named Reyhan lives. Thanks to her hard work and determination, she has achieved great success in her chosen field and has become a successful person. For some time now, she has been a businesswoman who skillfully manages her own restaurant, which is very popular in the city. In addition to the substantial income, she gets immense satisfaction from this profitable business. Over the years, she has also managed to arrange her personal life, being married to her beloved husband with whom she shares a deep bond.

However, the idyll surrounding the main character of the Turkish series "Ru" is suddenly overturned when she accidentally discovers that her fiancé is cheating on her with another woman! Reyhan is furious as she did not expect betrayal from the person closest to her. After a short period of anger, she decides to seek revenge on her unfaithful husband at all costs. It turns out that during this challenging time for her, she meets Uzer, a much younger man. However, the age difference does not stop Reyhan from starting a romance with him in order to get back at her cheating husband.

Uzer immediately attracts Reyhan's attention in the series, but he has major problems in his life. His mother has been diagnosed with a deadly disease, and in order to solve all the problems, Uzer has to work hard. When fate brings him together with Reyhan, she becomes a beacon of light for Uzer. Over the past few years, this woman has brought serious changes into Uzer's life. A romantic relationship begins between Reyhan and Uzer, which deepens with each passing moment. No one could have imagined the consequences that would arise from this relationship. Along their journey, they will face numerous challenges, with seemingly the whole world against their relationship.
